プーチンの虎が中国の鶏小屋を荒らす:Putin's tiger attacks henhouse in China

A Siberian tiger that “defected” to China after it was released by Vladimir Putin may now be under threat from vengeful farmers after chomping through a henhouse full of chickens.[...]

Kuzya’s “escape” to China prompted jokes in Russia that he was fleeing the arrival of Mr Putin, who spent his 62nd birthday on Oct 7 hiking in the Siberian taiga. - The Telegraph
In totally unrelated news, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) has awarded Putin with its Order. 

プーチンが5月に野に放った絶滅危惧種シベリアトラ（アムールタイガー）が今月アムール川を泳いで中国に渡り、鶏小屋の鶏3羽を食い荒らして逃走した。

国境警備隊が現場に駆けつけた時には既に行方を暗ましていたが、血みどろの鶏小屋の近くには大型動物の痕跡が残っていた。木こりに事情聴取したところ、「最近この辺りを徘徊しているプーチンの虎クージャ（Kuzya）にちげえねえ」と断定したようだ。

プーチンはちょうど10月7日、シベリアのタイガをハイキングして62回目の誕生日を祝っていた。時期が微妙に重なることからロシア国内では早速、「プーチンから逃げた」という笑い話になっている。

本件とは全く関係ないが、国際水泳連盟（FINA）は今月、最高賞をプーチンに贈って、「なんでだよ！」と各界に波紋を呼んでいる。
