The Australian Open invoked its extreme heat policy after Jamie Murray was treated for heatstroke. It's the longest heatwave in Melbourne history since 1908 when there were five consecutive days over 40 C.  Some notable records on Tuesday here.  On Wednesday it was even hotter at 109 F (43 C), and the forecast is for 111 F (44 C) on Thursday. Only Andy Murray, a bikram yoga practitioner, could survive this heat...
