Twitter Chairman stopped using Instagram

Twitter Tried to Buy Instagram

NYTimes noticed that after Facebook's April 9 announcement to buy Instagram for eye-hopping $1 billion, Twitter executive chairman Jack Dorsey (Instagram CEO Systrom's ex-boss and early investor in Instagram) stopped using it.  Last I checked, the paper it right: BEFORE v. AFTER (praising Apple...)   But, think about it. No one in their right mind would reject $10B.

BEFORE v. AFTER(アップルストア礼賛…)

Mr. Systrom may have lost one connection in the deal: Mr. Dorsey of Twitter. His company, according to several people briefed on the matter, had expressed interest in buying Instagram in recent months. Mr. Dorsey once used Instagram daily to send photos to Twitter, but he has not been back since the deal was announced, perhaps a sign that he is not happy to see it in the hands of a competitor. A Twitter spokeswoman declined to comment.
