スケート失格判定に怒った韓国のファンが豪大使館爆破予告：Australian Embassy bomb threat in Seoul over skating judge decision

At the 3,000m short track relay, South Korea team finished first but was disqualified after referees, headed by Australian James Hewish, ruled that Kim Min-Jung blocked China's Sun Linlin.

Outraged by the decision, South Korean team coach Choi Kwang-bok blamed Hewish openly, noting Hewish also disqualified South Korean star Kim Dong-Sung when he finished first against American star Apolo Anton Ohno at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic. (According to AFP, back then, Kim's fans "sent 16,000 angry e-mails which crashed the International Olympic Committee's website.")

This time, angry fan named "Mr. Kim" from Kim Min-Jung's hometown called in a bomb threat to blow up Australian Embassy in Seoul and got arrested.

Hewish got a ton of complaints and death threats and stayed in the audience on Friday for "security reasons."

木曜ショートトラック女子3000mリレー決勝で、1着ゴールを決めた韓国が進路妨害で失格となり、2着の中国が金メダルを獲得した件で、判定に怒ったファンが在ソール豪州大使館に爆破予告の電話をかけ逮捕された。

オーストラリア人ジェイムズ・ヒューイッシュ審判長の判定理由は「韓国キム・ミンジュン選手が中国ソン・リンリン選手の進路を妨害した」というものだが、納得し切れない韓国チーム崔光福監督は「体の接触はなかった。2002年のソルトレイクシティ五輪で金東聖選手を失格にしたのもヒューイッシュ審判だっ た」と、審判長を名指しで批判していた。

犯人はキム・ミンジュン選手と同じ町の出身のMr.キム。韓国警察は直ちに電話番号から居場所を突き止め身柄を押さえ、オーストラリア大使館職員5人を外に避難させ40分間に渡り館内を捜索したが爆弾は見つからなかったと、韓国のニュースサイトJoins.comは伝えている。

ソルトレイク五輪の時も2着から順位が繰り上がった米アポロ・アントン・オーノ選手がだいぶ叩かれたよね…。AFPによるとあの時は、金東聖選手のファンから怒りのメール1万6000通が殺到して国際オリンピック委員会（IOC）のサイトがクラッシュしたそうな。

今回もヒューイッシュ審判の元には抗議が殺到し、殺人予告も入ったことから、金曜は「セキュリティ上の理由」で審判を外れて、観客席からレースを見守った。

上にはったのが問題のシーンだが、う～ん…。
